The Don Storey Award

The Don Storey Memorial Award is presented to an active member of CAMA or one of their employees who during their years in the vending industry have given outstanding service. The Don Storey Award is given only in years in which a member who has demonstrated exemplary service is identified.

The criteria for measuring a nominee are as follows:

  • The nominee must be a CAMA member in good standing.
  • The nominee may be an Operator or Supplier.
  • The nominee will possess sound work ethics upholding high industry standards.
  • The nominee will, over a number of years, have made an exceptional contribution to the vending industry in Canada in terms of interest, service and achievement.
  • The nominee will have demonstrated high standards of integrity, commitment to industry image and community relations in the area in which he or she operates, or the particular activity in which he or she is involved.

The Stuart Daw Gold Service Award

Given in the name of Stuart Daw, a long time leader in the Canadian coffee and vending service industry, this award is presented to an individual who best exemplifies Stuart Daw’s fine qualities - entrepreneurial leadership, dedication and professionalism.

The criteria for measuring a nominee are as follows:

  • The nominee must be a CAMA member in good standing.
  • The nominee may be an Operator or Supplier.
  • The nominee will possess sound work ethics upholding high industry standards.
  • The nominee will, over a number of years, have made an exceptional contribution to the office coffee service industry in Canada in terms of interest, service and achievement.
  • Nominations will demonstrate how the nominee has contributed and influenced the office coffee service industry in a positive and productive way.

The CAMA Customer Service Award

Introduced in 2011, this award recognizes the late Albert DeNovellis whose personal approach and dedication to high standards of service were admired by clients and members across Canada.

The criteria for measuring a nominee are as follows:

  • The nominee must be a CAMA member in good standing.
  • The nominee may be an Operator or Supplier.
  • The nominee will possess sound work ethics upholding high industry standards.
  • The nominee will, over a number of years, have made an exceptional contribution to the vending and/ or office coffee service industry in Canada in terms of interest, service and achievement.

All nominations will be considered by the Selection Committee which is comprised of no fewer than five members all of whom are prior recipients of the Stuart Daw, Don Storey and/or Customer Service Awards.
