Fort McMurray, AB – McMurray Coin Machines is running a contest with local elementary schools encouraging students to choose milk for its health benefits, and McMurray Coin Machines is rewarding them for doing so!
The contest is called “Get MOOving” and it will run in local elementary schools from January 14 – February 22, 2008. The contest will run as follows:
- Students who purchase milk products from their participating school vending machine turn in their bottle caps for Get MOOving contest ballots.
- Each week, the school will draw one lucky winner from the previous week’s ballots for prizes (weekly prizes include M&M dolls, Kit Kat tents, school supplies, a personal CD player and a DVD player).
- At the end of the contest, the school with the most sales per capita will be contacted and will receive a Pizza and Milk party for the entire school!
In addition to the contest, each student from all participating schools will receive a free ruler. The ruler itself features 2 fun and child-friendly websites that promote making healthy choices, fun educational games, and encourages kids to keep active!
“There are a lot of beverage options out there for students and if they (students) have incentive to choose a healthier option and become educated about its benefits then we all win!” explains Kim Lockie, Owner/Operator of McMurray Coin Machines.
