This presentation will give a general overview of the Bank of Canada’s next regular circulating note, expected in late 2018 as well as the Bank’s responsibilities with regards to banknote development and distribution focusing on the inherent and essential relationships between vendors, BEMs and the Bank. It will also provide some insight into current counterfeiting trend and mitigation strategies.

Coffee Trends – Lesya Balych-Cooper, President of the Coffee Association of Canada - Lesya Balych-Cooper, President of the Coffee Association of Canada, will be talking about the state of the industry, association outreach and focus, and top level coffee trends from their annual proprietary study of Canadians who drink Canada's favourite beverage.

SMART PICK is a national healthy choice program developed for CAMA by dietitian April Saunders, MPH, RD, CDE, in consultation with industry stakeholders. The goal of the program is to increase consumer choice by expanding access to healthier food, snack and beverage options through Vending Merchandisers, Micro-Markets and Break Room Solutions in Canada. This interactive information session will cover the goals of the program, the implementation process, and how this program can benefit your business. Followed by Q&A.
